Minimum competitor skill requirements

Intermediate (H3), XC, TURB, AT


To be eligible, pilots must have previously flown in a USHGA aerotow competition or have written approval (acquired prior to registering) from the meet director. Pilots must have successfully aerotowed their glider model in competition conditions at least 10 times. USHGA intermediate rating (H3) and USHGA membership with aerotow sign-off required minimum 7 days prior to the start of the meet.

 

Entry Fee

The entry fee for the Big Spring Open and Pre-World Championship is $350 (does not include tow fees) and is required in full to complete your registration and to secure your entry. Single Surface and Sport Class entry fees will be $250, does not include towing..
